Bryan Nicholson is an accomplished 
PGA Professional with two decades 
of experience serving members 
at some of the most prestigious 
private clubs in the United States. 
A graduate of the University 
of Northern Iowa, where he 
competed on the men’s golf team, 
Bryan has been a PGA Member for 
over 20 years and is currently in his 
third season as Director of Golf 
at Cherry Hills Country Club.
His career is highlighted by leadership roles at premier clubs, 
having previously served as Director of Golf at Northwood 
Club in Dallas, Texas, and Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, 
Washington. During his tenure at Sahalee, Bryan proudly 
served as Host Professional for the 2024 KPMG Women’s 
PGA Championship.
Widely recognized for his excellence in golf operations and 
retail, Bryan has received numerous honors throughout 
his career, including Assistant Golf Professional of the Year 
(2014, Northern Texas PGA), Merchandiser of the Year (2019, 
Northern Texas PGA), Merchandiser of the Year (2023, Western 
Washington Chapter PGA), and is the 2026 Colorado PGA 
Section Professional of the Year. He was also a member of 
the Titleist Presidents’ Council (2023–2025) and a four-time 
recipient of the AGM Platinum Award for retail excellence.
Bryan holds PGA certifications in Retail, Instruction, Golf 
Operations, Executive Management, General Management, and 
Golf Course Ownership & Leasing. His service to the profession 
extends beyond his club, having served on numerous 
committees within the Northern Texas PGA, Pacific Northwest 
PGA, and Colorado PGA Sections.
A passionate advocate for the next generation of golf 
professionals, Bryan is committed to building a team-first 
culture centered on continuous improvement, mentorship, and 
professional growth. He takes particular pride in developing 
young professionals and creating meaningful opportunities for 
the next generation of leaders in the golf industry.
